Lead Commodity Specialist - Indirect Sourcing - Remote

Overview

This role involves leading Indirect Sourcing activities for assigned countries and commodities, focusing on supplier management, contract execution, and driving sourcing initiatives.

In Short

• Manage RFQ, negotiations, selection, and contracting for local business needs.
• Ensure contract execution for suppliers based on prices, delivery, and quality terms.
• Responsible for delivering metrics related to savings and supplier performance.
• Manage supplier contracts and modifications, ensuring effective communication.
• Coordinate local and remote teams to drive sourcing initiatives.
• Participate in planning processes and drive manual PO reduction.
• Use reporting tools for savings and cash management.
• Fluent in English and Hungarian is essential.
• Requires significant experience in sourcing and supplier management.
• Hybrid role with three days remote and two days in the office.

Requirements

• Business or Technical Education from an accredited university/college.
• Significant experience in Sourcing and remote team management.
• Demonstrated project management skills.
• Analytical and communication skills are essential.
• Basic financial and legal knowledge.
• Experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Proven leadership skills.
• Six Sigma Green Belt is a plus.
