Hypergiant, an Accelint company, empowers organizations with AI-driven solutions. We are looking for a Lead Data Engineer to work on complex DoD projects, developing a data service for command and control software.

In Short

• Develop and improve a data service for cloud-based applications.
• Support data and database modeling efforts.
• Contribute to reusable component libraries and shared codebase.
• Participate in the software development lifecycle using agile processes.
• Collaborate with various teams to integrate data services.
• Communicate task estimation and progress regularly.
• Ensure seamless integration between database and messaging systems.
• Ensure data quality and performance through code reviews.
• Write high-quality code following best practices.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software development or data engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python, familiarity with Java and Bash.
• Experience with database technologies and messaging systems.
• Experience with data fabric development using publish-subscribe models.
• Proficiency with containerization technologies.
• Experience with version control and CI/CD tools.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling and optimization techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead teams.
• Must be a US Citizen eligible for security clearance.
