Senior Tax Specialist - Remote

Overview

Huntress is seeking a Senior Tax Specialist to join their fully remote team, responsible for preparing and reviewing various business tax returns and ensuring compliance with tax laws.

• Remote position based in the US.
• Compensation range of $110,000 to $125,000 base plus bonus and equity.
• Preparation of U.S. federal, state, and local income tax returns.
• Preparation of international tax returns for subsidiaries in multiple countries.
• Support tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities.
• Conduct tax research and analysis.
• Collaborate with internal departments for tax filings.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• 4+ years of experience in tax accounting required.
• CPA, CMI, or MST designation preferred.

Requirements

• 4+ years of progressive experience in tax accounting.
• Experience in public accounting or large multinational corporations preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ASC 740 and deferred tax accounting.
• Prior experience in a SaaS or enterprise software company preferred.
• Experience with NetSuite is preferred.
• Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and change.
• CPA, CMI, or MST designation is preferred.
