AU Bookkeeper / Accounts Manager - Remote

Overview

The role involves managing day-to-day financial operations as an Offshore Bookkeeper / Accounts Manager, supporting an Australian client in the flooring and window furnishing industry.

In Short

• Work remotely from home.
• Full-time schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (AU Time Zone).
• Manage invoicing, payroll, and reconciliations.
• Use Xero and Deputy for financial operations.
• Perform bank reconciliations and debtor management.
• Process supplier invoices and payroll accurately.
• Prepare BAS and IAS reports for accountant review.
• Ensure compliance with Australian employment standards.
• Communicate professionally with clients regarding overdue accounts.
• Independent contractor position with direct client hiring.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of bookkeeping experience.
• Strong knowledge of Xero and payroll processing.
• Familiarity with Australian accounting standards.
• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Accounting qualification preferred.
• BAS Agent registration is a plus.
