Bookkeeper / Accountant - Remote

Treantly is a Canadian-based recruitment agency that facilitates the connection between businesses in North America and exceptional remote staff in the Philippines.

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Accountant to join our team. This role requires an experienced professional who can hit the ground running with minimal training on bookkeeping fundamentals. The ideal candidate must have extensive bookkeeping experience, strong problem-solving abilities, and an assertive personality to effectively collaborate with internal team members and external clients when necessary.

In Short

• Process invoices, credits, and reconcile AR invoicing against AP invoices.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and ensure accurate financial records across all business units.
• Proactively reach out to internal teams for issue resolution and external clients for receivables collections.
• Manage invoices, track expenses, and oversee purchase orders.
• Work closely with Horizon’s outsourced Financial Management partner.
• Provide general administrative assistance, including filing and scheduling.
• Support the team with various ad-hoc financial tasks as needed.
