Overview

The Telephonic Care Manager Behavioral Health Intern will assess and evaluate members' needs to help them achieve optimal wellness by guiding them towards appropriate resources.

• Internship opportunity for transitioning military service members or military spouses.

• Utilize Medicaid training and engage in various care management strategies.
• Monitor patient care through assessments and evaluations.
• May create member care plans.
• Work independently with minimal direction.

• Work schedule: Weekdays 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time.

Requirements

• Must be a transitioning service member or military spouse eligible for SkillBridge.
• Active RN license or Master's degree in related field with independent licensure.
• Minimum of two years clinical nursing experience.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience with serious mental illness and behavioral health members.
• Care coordination experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.
• Experience in managed care and case management is a plus.
• Certification as a Case Manager (CCM) is an advantage.
