Utilization Management Nurse 2 - Remote

Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first. The Utilization Management Nurse 2 utilizes clinical nursing skills to support the coordination, documentation, and communication of medical services, discharges, and/or benefit administration determinations.

In Short

• Utilizes clinical nursing skills for medical service coordination.
• Work assignments require interpretation and independent determination.
• Limited hybrid work with some hours at home.
• Coordinates with providers and members for discharge planning.
• Requires RN License without restrictions in Florida or Compact state.
• 2+ years of clinical experience preferred.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills needed.
• Must have reliable transportation for on-site reviews.
• Work from a dedicated space to protect member PHI.
• Eligible for a bonus incentive plan.

Requirements

• RN License without restrictions.
• 2+ years of clinical experience, preferably in acute care.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid Driver’s License and dependable transportation.
• Ability to provide high-speed internet for home office.
• Must meet TB screening criteria if selected.
• Previous experience in discharge planning or case management is a plus.
• Bilingual candidates are preferred.
