Overview

As a Growth Specialist (Account Executive) on the direct sales team, you will identify, source and close net new business opportunities that fall within the small business space (1-25 employees).

In Short

  • Position the value of HubSpot’s software and the customer journey to small-size businesses.
  • Run 3-5 meetings per day for prospective customers and manage the entire sales process.
  • Educate and guide prospects through the sales cycle to help them learn how HubSpot can grow their business.
  • Manage a pipeline of primarily outbound prospects (about 90%) and inbound leads.
  • Dissect and qualify prospects’ business goals to determine if HubSpot can be a strategic investment.
  • Close net new business at or above quota level.
  • Partner with marketing and technology departments to execute sales strategy.
  • Bring your thinking, strategies, and ideas to advance the company’s values and culture.
  • Engage as your unique self in a diverse, inclusive and high-performing team.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience working with self-sourced, outbound leads.
  • At least 1 year of majority net new closing experience (SaaS experience is a plus).
  • Desire and commitment to succeed in sales.
  • Positive outlook and responsibility for successes and failures.
  • Exceptional consultative selling and closing skills.
  • Top Producers in their current role.
  • Sharp focus on goals and belief in achieving them through daily activities.
  • Proactive in uncovering and solving gaps and raising skill levels.
