Director of UX, Commerce - Remote

Overview

We’re searching for a results-driven design leader to join our UX team to help shape the future of our newest product line, Commerce Hub. You’ll be leading and developing a team of product designers and partnering with product management, engineering, and research leaders to drive the vision for helping thousands of small/medium businesses run their commerce process in HubSpot. This role has an opportunity to have a major impact in an emerging business line that is critical to HubSpot’s business strategy. We value leaders who are empathetic coaches, set a high bar for design quality, and are excited about collaborating with cross-functional partners. This leader should also have the ability to communicate and influence a large dynamic organization to help bring the team’s ideas to the world.

• Lead and develop a team of product designers for the Commerce Hub product line.

Requirements

• Experience in leading design or UX in B2B commerce/payments.
• Demonstrated success in delivering intuitive products.
• Ability to manage complex scenarios and drive clarity.
• Several years of experience building and scaling design teams.
• Strong coaching skills for designers.
• Collaborative approach to co-create design strategy.
• Ability to communicate and influence across the organization.
• Understanding of fostering team health and mission.
