Accounting Manager (EMEA) - Remote

Overview

We’re looking for an experienced and hands-on Accounting Manager (EMEA) to own the regional finance function. This is a critical role where you’ll ensure the integrity of our financial reporting, maintain statutory compliance in the UK and Ireland, and drive improvements to our processes and controls.

In Short

• Manage and reconcile the general ledger in line with UK/Irish accounting standards.
• Deliver monthly management accounts and reports, provide variance analysis.
• Prepare and submit UK/Ireland VAT returns, support payroll submissions.
• Collaborate with external accountants, auditors, and tax specialists.
• Work closely with the VP of Sales and other stakeholders.
• Strengthen financial controls and document processes.
• Provide accounting expertise during acquisitions and integrations.
• Collaborate with the US-based finance team.

Requirements

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA (or equivalent) qualified accountant.
• 4+ years of accounting experience, ideally with regional or international exposure.
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS 102.
• Proven track record in cash management and VAT compliance.
• Hands-on experience preparing statutory filings and working with auditors.
• Skilled with ERP/accounting systems (Xero or Intact preferred).
• Excellent communicator with stakeholders at all levels.
• Comfortable building structure and processes in a fast-growing environment.
• Highly autonomous and adaptable.
