Overview

The Refractory Installation Specialist I represents HarbisonWalker International as an on-site technical liaison accountable for contributing to HarbisonWalker Internationals overall business performance by installing refractory products and providing material installation support for continued business growth.

In Short

• Support customer's use of refractory products through hands-on installation.
• Ensure HarbisonWalker International equipment is operating in good condition.
• Coordinate and transport equipment to and from customer sites.
• Assist in new job setup and preparation.
• Perform equipment parts inventory for maintenance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to use brick saw and bricklaying equipment.
• Knowledge of refractory lined units.
• Ability to operate a jib crane and forklift.
• Experience with hand and electrical tools.
• Organized with emphasis on quality and meeting deadlines.
• Fundamental computer skills.
• Driver's license with experience towing trailers.
• Application of refractory castable, shotcrete, and/or gunite materials.
