Data Quality & Governance Lead - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a Data Quality & Governance Lead to take ownership of enterprise-wide data quality, governance frameworks, and compliance initiatives. This role is responsible for ensuring that our data assets are accurate, reliable, and well-managed, enabling better business decision-making and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in data governance strategy, data quality assurance, metadata management, and regulatory alignment.

In Short

• Lead data quality initiatives to monitor, clean, and enhance enterprise data assets.
• Implement data profiling, cleansing, and validation processes to improve accuracy and consistency.
• Define and track key data quality metrics (DQMs) and establish data issue resolution protocols.
• Develop and implement a data governance framework to ensure data integrity, compliance, and usability.
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to establish data ownership and stewardship processes.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
• Leverage data governance tools such as Collibra and Informatica.
• Integrate automation and AI-driven solutions for data quality monitoring.
• Design and execute enterprise training programs on data governance.
• 5+ years of experience in data governance, data quality, or data management roles.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA DMBOK).
• Proficiency in PowerBI, SQL, and data profiling tools.
• Experience with enterprise data lakes and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards (GDPR, CCPA).
• Strong analytical skills and stakeholder engagement abilities.
