Senior Equipment Project Engineer - Remote

Overview

This role involves providing Equipment Engineering and project management support for new laboratory equipment installations and relocations, with a combination of on-site and remote work based on job assignments.

In Short

• Support planning and installation of laboratory equipment.
• Provide input on equipment moves and installation costs.
• Develop lab CAD drawings for equipment specifications.
• Review abatement requirements with EH&S.
• Collaborate with Facilities Engineers and Project Managers.
• Review equipment specifications for performance standards.
• Coordinate tool installation dates with various teams.
• Write maintenance procedures for new equipment.
• Recommend spare parts and consumables.
• Must meet physical demands and have a valid Driver’s License.

Requirements

• Proficient in AutoCAD and PLC programming.
• Strong background in electronics and wiring.
• Ability to read and prepare electronic schematics.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
• AS or BS Engineering Degree or 15 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Process Vacuum Equipment and Vacuum Technology.
• Ability to obtain Secret or TS Clearance.
