Horace Mann is a purpose-driven company that is passionate about educators. We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Talent Acquisition Consultant to lead and manage full-cycle recruitment efforts across multiple business areas.

In Short

• Lead and manage all phases of the recruitment process, from sourcing and screening to interviewing and onboarding.
• Consult with department managers to define hiring criteria and develop job descriptions.
• Create and implement efficient, targeted recruiting strategies.
• Post job openings and manage advertisements.
• Conduct initial resume reviews and screen candidates.
• Coordinate and schedule interviews and prepare interview questions.
• Participate in candidate interviews with hiring managers.
• Collaborate during the offer stage to define compensation and onboarding plans.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
• Represent the company at career fairs and recruitment sessions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and consultative skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to develop relationships with stakeholders.

• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
