• We are seeking a senior backend software engineer with experience building scalable and robust systems.
• Join a cross-functional team of exceptional engineers and product managers.
• Develop new features and provide support to help partners scale their businesses.
• Our backend systems are written in Scala and utilize GCP services.
• Work with containerized microservices architecture.
• Design, build and review code for our fraud and abuse backend platform.
• Iterate on features using Scala and technologies within GCP.
• Operate autonomously while collaborating with engineers and PMs.
• Emphasize strong alignment and asynchronous decision making.
• 4+ years of experience building scalable backend systems required.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of distributed systems.
• Ability to work with minimal guidance and handle uncertainty.
• Experience in cross-functional teams.
• Prior experience in the payments and fraud space is a plus.
