Finance & Strategy Manager - Remote

Overview

As a member of the Finance and Strategy team, you won’t just report on the business—you will build the systems that run it. Your day-to-day mission is to help our leaders make high-stakes decisions across Hopper’s B2C, Media, and Sales verticals by merging deep financial intuition with AI-accelerated technical execution.

In Short

• Act as a "Finance Engineer" for business leaders, translating complex operational drivers into automated reporting metrics.
• Architect long-range forecasting models and engines that go beyond static spreadsheets.
• Build and maintain the code-based systems that power our finance engine.
• Partner with the Sales and Media teams to engineer high-leverage Go-To-Market strategies.
• Use AI to simulate "what-if" scenarios and model complex incentive structures.
• 5-7+ years of experience in a top tier tech company.
• Proven track record of using Claude, ChatGPT, or GitHub Copilot.
• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work autonomously.
• Proven track record in FP&A or Strategic Finance supporting Sales and Media teams.

Requirements

• A degree in Business, Strategy, Finance, Math, Engineering, or other quantitative discipline.
• Experience in predictive strategic planning and automation.
• Strong modeling experience and understanding of sales velocity and B2B unit economics.
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Experience in building automated frameworks for financial reporting.
