In Short

• Plan and conduct automated and manual tests for various software products and applications.
• Develop and implement automated test scripts and test cases to efficiently cover functional and non-functional requirements.
• Identify, document, and track software bugs and issues, assisting in troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with development teams and product owners to develop and optimize test strategies.
• Continuously improve testing processes and procedures by introducing new tools, methods, and best practices.
• Support the creation of test reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Plan software releases and communicate these plans.

Requirements

• Several years of experience as a Test & QA Engineer focusing on automated and manual testing, preferably in web applications (PHP, JS) and APIs (REST/SOAP).
• Solid knowledge in developing and implementing automated test scripts and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, PHPUnit, Cypress).
• Basic programming knowledge in languages like PHP and JavaScript.
• Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) and test automation tools. GitLab knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to understand and analyze complex technical issues.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
• High initiative, commitment, and a strong quality awareness.
• Good to very good English (C1 level) and German (B2 level) skills.
