Investment Support Default Manager - Remote

Overview

As Hometap’s Investment Support Default Manager, you’ll be a key part of the team that ensures our invested Homeowners have a best-in-class investment experience from recording through offboarding. You bring experience managing a variety of default events, years of experience building successful default teams, and the skills necessary to develop and implement effective strategies to improve overall performance.

In Short

• Oversee all areas of default processes including foreclosure and bankruptcy.
• Identify and manage KPIs for team performance.
• Handle escalated customer issues and ensure satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the Legal Department on proceedings.
• Champion continuous improvement in default processes.
• Ensure compliance with investor guidelines.
• Perform internal audits and create action plans.
• Establish operational reporting to identify service gaps.
• Communicate with vendors and monitor external counsel.
• Stay updated on industry trends in default management.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in default management.
• 3+ years as a Default Manager in Bankruptcy/Default Management.
• Experience with foreclosure, bankruptcy, and loss mitigation.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
• Ability to foster cross-functional relationships.
• Experience managing remote teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a deadline-oriented environment.
• Strong computer and CRM skills, including Salesforce.
