Overview

Hometap is seeking a Default Paralegal to improve processes and collaborate with counsel and Investment Support team leaders in the default and foreclosure processes.

In Short

• Assist with bankruptcy, foreclosure, and ownership changes.
• Conduct legal research for proceedings.
• Partner with external counsel on various legal matters.
• Support monthly reporting to investors.
• Streamline processes related to managing legal proceedings.
• Ensure compliance with laws related to default servicing.
• Collaborate with internal legal teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years of paralegal experience in foreclosure and bankruptcy.
• Experience in default mortgage servicing or foreclosure law.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
