Overview

As a Frontend Software Engineer at Homebase, you’ll join a team focused on building tools that enhance the frontend developer experience and support fast, impactful development across product teams.

In Short

Design and build scalable, performant frontend software for customers.
Empower other frontend teams by building tooling and improving workflows.
Evaluate and recommend emerging frameworks and frontend technologies.
Collaborate with engineering, design, and product teams.
Mentor junior engineers and promote clean, maintainable code.
Support the transition into an AI-first engineering culture.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in frontend development, preferably with React.js.
Strong expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
Experience in agile environments.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Ability to evaluate frameworks and technologies objectively.
Comfortable collaborating in the office weekly on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
