Overview

The SOC Lead and Incident Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating response and recovery actions for information security incidents, ensuring effective integration of HiveMQ assets with monitoring solutions, and leading discussions during cyber security situations.

In Short

  • Establish and grow HiveMQ's Security Operations Center (SOC).
  • Develop Incident Management processes and protocols.
  • Integrate HiveMQ assets with monitoring solutions.
  • Improve the Incident Response Lifecycle and SOC maturity.
  • Lead discussions during cyber security incidents.
  • Perform Cyber Kill Chain and MITRE ATT&CK analysis.
  • Regularly update incident statuses.
  • Engage in event management from identification to remediation.
  • Improve threat management capabilities.
  • Conduct regular tabletop exercises and tests.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or related field.
  • Relevant security certifications (e.g., GCIH, GCFE).
  • Experience in Threat Intelligence development.
  • 1+ years in information security activities.
  • 3+ years managing security events in corporate contexts.
  • Knowledge of risk management and control frameworks.
  • Understanding of cloud security principles.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub).
  • Knowledge of IaC tools (e.g., Terraform).
  • Expertise in network security and cryptography.
