Overview

As a Frontend Engineer in our Cloud Applications Team, you will build and design great user experiences working on our customer facing Cloud Portal and other systems.

In Short

Architect, implement, optimize and maintain the HiveMQ Cloud customer portal.
Contribute to the HiveMQ design system and component library.
Build, maintain and refactor existing code bases.
Develop new features considering UI/UX.
Work with Product Managers to create new customer value.
Live a culture of teamwork and excellence.
Contribute to the overall developer experience and code quality.
Learn about MQTT, distributed systems, and IoT.

Requirements

5+ years of software engineering experience.
3+ years of experience in front-end code with TypeScript, JavaScript, SCSS, CSS, and HTML.
Experience with React and state management systems.
Understanding of build tools and testing frameworks.
Familiarity with web security best practices.
Good knowledge of UI/UX concepts is a plus.
Experience with A/B-Testing is a plus.
Ability to solve problems independently.
Understanding of agile software engineering using Kanban.
Excellent English communication skills.
