Senior Software Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Senior Software Analyst will perform design, analysis, programming and integration activities in the development of software for train control systems of Ground Transportation Systems, achieving customer satisfaction of the delivered solution/product.

• Perform design, analysis, programming, and integration activities.
• Understand customer needs and lifecycle concerns.
• Contribute to formalization of mission/function description and architectural design.
• Design, code, debug, write test procedures, and test software code.
• Review code, test procedures, and test results.
• Analyze and implement corrections for defect reports.
• Provide training and leadership to staff.
• Contribute to co-engineering activities with Systems Engineering team.
• Look for opportunities and make suggestions for improvements.
• Work Package Management within technical domain.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in URS Systems and General Software Design.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Senior level analysis skills and ability to diagnose issues.
• Knowledgeable of software development processes.
• Experience with Agile Methodologies.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Experience with source control and requirements management tools.
• Knowledge of railway signaling techniques.
• Professional Engineer – PENG preferred.
