Senior Software Engineer, Growth Engineering - Remote

In Short

• Lead and execute the design, development, and deployment of high-impact features for our web storefront.
• Build scalable and performant solutions primarily within the front-end that drive business growth.
• Mentor and develop team members by setting best practices for architecture, coding, delivery, and operations.
• Foster collaboration across engineering pods and teams to create reusable, scalable solutions.
• Partner with key stakeholders to make data-driven decisions and optimize performance.
• Contribute to the technical and strategic vision of the Category Growth Engineering pods.
• Collaborate with backend and quality engineers to deliver high-quality code.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by participating in sprint ceremonies.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, preferably in an e-commerce or growth-focused engineering environment.
• A strong understanding of modern web technologies (React, GraphQL, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3).
• Proven experience building complex consumer web applications with a strong understanding of state management.
• Strong understanding of CSS, design principles, and component library creation.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Ability to prioritize effectively, manage multiple projects, and deliver results on tight deadlines.
• Experience with React Native or native iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and Android (Kotlin/Java) development.
• Experience leading and mentoring engineering teams.
