Senior Operations Planner, Demand Planning - Remote

In Short

• Work cross functionally with Category Growth and Finance teams to align on the appropriate demand plan for assigned categories.
• Demonstrated knowledge of forecasting methodologies and statistical analysis.
• Proven ability to review and analyze complex data sets.
• Create buying recommendations for generic finished goods based on key metrics.
• Drive accountability through the implementation of key metrics.
• Articulate and document all risks resulting from inventory levels.
• Leverage analytics team members to build out appropriate reporting.
• Proficient in demand planning concepts.
• Lead integrated business planning conversations for assigned categories.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in demand planning, production planning, or supply planning.
• Bachelors degree required preferably in Supply Chain or related field.
• 3+ years experience with ERP, planning, and replenishment systems.
• Excel and Google Sheet proficiency including data manipulations.
• Basic to Intermediate SQL experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to think through complex problems.
• Detail-oriented and exceptionally organized.
• Demonstrated ability to organize resources and analyze alternatives.
