In Short

• Manage internal engineering workflow and diligence for project acquisitions.
• Contribute to design and engineering of renewable energy and cleantech projects.
• Oversee full project life cycle and manage third-party consulting engineers.
• Enforce design and engineering standards.
• Collaborate with development and finance to assess project feasibility.
• Provide technical guidance on solar technology.
• Review project deliverables for compliance with codes and client requests.
• Conduct energy production estimates using PVsyst and Helioscope.
• Travel for work up to 30% as needed.
• Position is fully remote, considering applicants within the USA.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required; master’s preferred.
• 7+ years of renewable energy experience, 5+ years in Rooftop Solar PV systems.
• Creative approach to energy/carbon optimization problems.
• Experience managing a large portfolio of projects.
• Proficient with PV design tools including Helioscope, PVSyst, and AutoCAD.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• PE in electrical, mechanical, or civil preferred.
