Flight Operations Systems Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Flight Operations Systems Engineer will be responsible for defining, developing, and executing satellite constellation operations, including the preparation, implementation, testing, and verification of operations procedures.

In Short

• Participate in the development of satellite operations procedures.
• Oversee execution and training for spacecraft in-orbit operations.
• Conduct trade-off studies for satellite operations procedures.
• Develop verification and validation matrices for operations procedures.
• Support in-orbit testing and anomaly resolution.
• Assist with satellite simulator operation and script development.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills required.
• Knowledge of LEO/MEO satellite operations preferred.
• Experience with automated satellite operations is a plus.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant field.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with LEO/MEO SatOps.
• Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages.
• Familiarity with concepts of space and ground segment design.
• Experience with requirements management tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of French is a plus.
