Ultrasound Technician - Part Time - Remote

Overview

The Ultrasound Technician performs prescribed Sonography procedures at a technical level requiring independent judgment and initiative, ensuring high-quality imaging results.

In Short

• Perform various ultrasound imaging procedures.
• Analyze imaging results and resolve quality issues.
• Educate patients about procedures and equipment.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and medications.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification required.
• CPR certification by the American Heart Association.
• Act 34, 33, and 73 clearance certificates.
• Prior sonography experience preferred.
• Knowledge of imaging equipment and safety standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Compliance with HIPAA and company policies.
