Transport Monitor Technician - Part Time - Remote

Overview

The Transport Monitor Technician is responsible for transporting patients, specimens, and equipment throughout the facility while continuously observing and interpreting cardiac rhythms for patients on a cardiac monitor.

In Short

• Transports patients on cardiac monitors to testing sites and back.
• Analyzes and interprets ECG rhythms according to procedures.
• Delivers equipment and specimens to requesting departments.
• Provides information and directions to patients and visitors.
• Maintains transportation equipment in good working order.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Requires Act 34, Act 33, and Act 73 clearances.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred.
• Adheres to HIPAA and company privacy policies.
• Ensures compliance with ethical and legal standards.

Requirements

• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate.
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
• Ability to analyze and interpret ECG rhythms.
• Good communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain equipment.
• Must comply with HIPAA and privacy policies.
• Adherence to company’s Code of Business Conduct.
