Overview

This position involves scheduling surgeries, tests, procedures, and office visits while obtaining necessary authorizations from insurance carriers.

In Short

• Schedules and coordinates operating room and office visits.
• Completes reservation forms and delivers physician orders.
• Tracks medical clearances and billing information.
• Obtains authorizations for procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 months related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes.
• Computer proficiency and keyboard skills.
• Associate's Degree preferred.
