RN Clinical Adjunct Instructor, Med Surg/ICU - Remote

Overview

This role serves as an adjunct faculty member for the AHN Schools of Nursing, responsible for clinical instruction of nursing students.

In Short

• Provide quality clinical instruction to nursing students.
• Document student progress and collaborate with faculty leaders.
• Promote patient safety initiatives and participate in quality initiatives.
• Establish positive relationships with students and healthcare team members.
• Demonstrate critical thinking in patient care issues.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing students.
• Utilize effective communication skills in patient care.
• Engage in continuous learning and share knowledge with peers.
• Participate in interdisciplinary teams for clinical evaluation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in nursing or to be obtained within 5 years of hire.
• 2 years of clinical experience may be required.
• Current State of PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure.
• Act 34, Act 33, and Act 73 clearances required.
• Preferred 2 years of teaching experience in nursing education.
