Overview

The RN Nursing Instructor for Med-Surg provides classroom and clinical instruction to nursing students, ensuring that they receive relevant education and hands-on experience.

• Provides classroom and clinical instruction and evaluation of nursing students.
• Develops course materials including outlines, syllabi, and examinations.
• Evaluates student performance in both classroom and clinical settings.
• Contributes to Faculty Organization activities for student recruitment and program evaluation.
• Maintains program accreditation through systematic evaluation activities.
• Requires a Master's Degree in Nursing or to be obtained within 5 years of hire.
• Current RN licensure in Pennsylvania or multi-state licensure through eNLC.
• Preferred two years of teaching experience in a nursing school.
• Compliance with HIPAA and company policies is required.
• Must pass various criminal background checks.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Nursing (or to be obtained within 5 years).
• Current State of PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure.
• 2 years of clinical experience may be required.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
• Various background clearances (Act 34, Act 33, Act 73).
• Preferred teaching experience in nursing education.
