Registered Nurse - Telemetry (Nights) - Remote

Overview

The Registered Nurse for the Telemetry Unit at Allegheny General Hospital is responsible for providing specialized care to patients with various neurological and medical conditions during night shifts.

In Short

• Full-time position with steady night shifts from 7pm to 7am.
• Focus on patients with neuroscience needs such as Alzheimer's and epilepsy.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for patient care.
• Provide education to patients and families based on individual needs.
• Manage patient care delivery activities.
• Work in a Level I Shock Trauma Center.
• Participate in rotating weekends and holidays.
• Must have current RN licensure in Pennsylvania or multi-state licensure.
• Requires a minimum of one year of general nursing experience.

Requirements

• Act 34, 33, and 73 clearances required.
• Current CPR certification.
• One year of general nursing experience required.
• Preferred experience in a telemetry or similar unit.
• Strong clinical assessment and care planning skills.
