Overview

The Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery at West Penn Hospital is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients in the obstetrics department.

Requirements

• Current State of PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure.
• CPR certification required.
• Act 34, Act 33, and Act 73 clearances.
• Experience in Labor and Delivery preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Commitment to patient-centered care.
• Willingness to accept feedback and improve practice.
• Knowledge of current nursing practices and standards.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
