Physician Assistant - Grove City Primary Care - Remote

Overview

This position provides primary health care and performs selective medical services under the direction of physicians.

In Short

• Provides appropriate patient care including medical history and physical assessment.
• Develops therapeutic care plans and orders lab tests.
• Communicates and coordinates patient care with families and health services.
• Monitors and evaluates patient care periodically.
• Prepares written prescription orders for drugs.
• Educates patients and family members on health and illness prevention.
• Triages patient calls and ensures continuity of care.
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives.
• May perform interventional radiology procedures under supervision.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Current PA Physician Assistant License or board eligible.
• CPR Certification from American Heart Association.
• Act 34, 33, and 73 Criminal Background Clearances.
• Preferred 0-1 year experience in interventional radiology.
• ACLS certification preferred.
