In Short

  • Apply electrodes on patients' heads and check for accuracy.
  • Calibrate and maintain equipment for optimal performance.
  • Assess and review tracings to aid in result interpretation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Requires six months of experience in a hospital or physician's office.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Additional schooling in EEG or respiratory therapy programs is preferred.
  • Must have CPR certification.
  • Compliance with health and safety regulations is mandatory.

Requirements

  • Completion of EEG or respiratory therapy programs.
  • CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Various criminal background clearances are required.
