Overview

The Medical Assistant will assist physicians and healthcare extenders in providing medical care to patients, including tasks such as taking vital signs and preparing treatment rooms.

In Short

• Rooms and interviews patients to obtain medical information.
• Measures vital signs, weight, and height.
• Helps physicians examine and treat patients.
• Prepares treatment rooms for patient examinations.

Requirements

• Minimum High School / GED required.
• 1 year of experience in a Direct Patient care role.
• Experience with vital signs, injections, phlebotomy, and EKGs.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
• Background clearances (Act 34, Act 33, Act 73).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Commitment to patient confidentiality and ethical standards.
• Willingness to comply with company policies and procedures.
