Overview

We are seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to support our Internal Medicine practice in Salem, MA, providing outstanding primary and preventative healthcare to adult patients.

In Short

• Full-time position, 40 hours per week.
• Onsite work at 400 Highland Avenue, Salem, MA.
• Responsibilities include ensuring efficient patient flow and assisting during office visits.
• Perform clinically appropriate tasks related to coordination of care.
• Maintain clean and safe patient care areas.
• Interact with patients and families in a professional manner.
• Required qualifications include a high school diploma/GED.
• Must have BLS or Annual Manikin training including CPR and AED within 6 months of hire.
• Preferred qualifications include a Medical Assistant Course or diploma program.
• National MA Certification is a plus.

Requirements

• High School diploma/GED.
• BLS or Annual Manikin training including CPR and AED after 6 months of hire.
• Medical Assistant Course or diploma program preferred.
• Minimum of 1-year professional experience preferred.
• National MA Certification via AAMA, AMT, NHA, or NCCT preferred.
