Overview

We are seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to support our Family Medicine practice in Northampton, MA, providing comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages.

In Short

• Full-time position, 40 hours per week.
• Onsite work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm.
• Collaborate with nurses and providers in a team environment.
• Assist in patient flow and care during office visits.
• Perform tasks related to patient management and care coordination.
• Maintain clean and safe patient care areas.
• Strong communication with patients and families.
• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support and Certified Medical Assistant credentials preferred.
• Direct medical assistant experience preferred.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support certification preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
• Direct medical assistant experience or medical field work preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in busy environments.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems.
• Ability to manage one's own time effectively.
