Overview

This job is responsible for configuring, rolling out, and supporting the assigned Epic application(s) while ensuring effective communication with end-users to resolve issues and implement solutions.

In Short

  • Responsible for configuring and supporting Epic application(s).
  • Conducts business/systems analysis and requirements documentation.
  • Plans, designs, tests, and implements Epic Payer Platform software.
  • Analyzes system requirements and performs workflow analysis.
  • Provides guidance and support to end-users.
  • Conducts problem-solving and root cause analysis.
  • Manages small to medium projects independently.
  • Creates and maintains documentation and training materials.
  • Updates stakeholders on project progress and issues.
  • Maintains Epic environments with new functionalities.

Requirements

  • 3 years of systems administration experience with Epic modules.
  • Experience in the healthcare or health insurance industry preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and critical thinking skills.
  • Associate's degree or relevant work experience required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
  • Epic Application Certification within 6 months required.
  • Ability to handle analysis and design tasks of moderate complexity.
  • Knowledge of project management principles.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
