Cytotechnologist - Casual Hours - Day Shift - Remote

Overview

The Cytotechnologist is responsible for performing routine and special procedures on patient specimens, including screening gynecologic and non-gynecologic slides, and assisting pathologists with specimen preparation.

• Independently performs routine and special procedures on patient specimens.
• Microscopically screens gynecologic and non-gynecologic slides.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in ASCP eligible program or equivalent.
• Preferred: CT (ASCP) Clinical cytotechnologist experience.
• Knowledge of quality control and test procedures.
• Ability to participate in educational programs.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety guidelines.
