Overview

The Central Processing Educator is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and executing educational initiatives within the Allegheny Health Network, while maintaining clinical expertise and collaborating with department leadership.

Requirements

  • Minimum High School/GED.
  • 3 years of experience in sterile processing departments.
  • Experience in education design and training.
  • Certification as a Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) within 18 months.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to develop and evaluate educational programs.
  • Commitment to ethical standards and compliance.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
