Overview

HighLevel is looking for a passionate Software Development Engineer in Test III to join its remote engineering team in India, responsible for ensuring quality and consistency in software releases.

In Short

• Validate complex system workflows across UI, API, and backend layers.
• Enhance and maintain the existing Playwright automation framework.
• Build internal QA tools and improve test data workflows.
• Develop and maintain test infrastructure for containerized environments.
• Conduct performance and load testing for high-traffic services.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to embed quality early.
• Analyze failures across distributed systems to identify root causes.
• Advocate for shift-left quality in system design and architecture.
• Maintain documentation and onboarding materials for frameworks.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in software testing or automation.
• Expertise in enhancing automation frameworks like Playwright.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD and containerized infrastructure.
• Working knowledge of AWS or GCP environments.
• Deep understanding of RESTful API testing and backend validation.
• Experience with performance testing tools like k6 or JMeter.
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Grafana or ELK.
• Strong debugging skills in distributed architectures.
• E-Commerce domain experience is preferred but optional.
