Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Engineering Project Manager to oversee the development, documentation, and successful completion of engineering projects. This role requires a strong background in engineering principles, excellent project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing project timelines, gathering and defining requirements, ensuring quality control, and ensuring documentation is accurate and up-to-date throughout the lifecycle of the project.

In Short

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans that outline tasks, milestones, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, design, QA, etc.) to ensure alignment and smooth workflow.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather project requirements.
  • Document and maintain clear and detailed project specifications, technical requirements, and functional requirements.
  • Lead project execution, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and within scope.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary.
  • Foster collaboration among multidisciplinary teams and maintain strong communication channels.
  • Ensure that all project deliverables meet established quality standards.
  • Oversee final project review and ensure all deliverables are completed to specifications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 3-5 years of experience in engineering project management, including experience with documentation and requirements management.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles, tools, and software.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with varying complexities and timelines.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • PMP or other relevant project management certification is a plus.
