National Safety Manager - Remote

Overview

The National Safety Manager is responsible for developing, overseeing, and managing all health, safety, and new hire training initiatives. This position recommends measures to help protect workers from potentially hazardous work methods, processes, or materials. As well as inspect or evaluate workplace environments, equipment, or practices to ensure compliance with safety standards and government regulations. The ideal candidate is willing to travel at least 40% of the time.

• Assist with ordering PPE supplies.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of industry-related experience.
• OSHA 30 Certified - required.
• OSHA 500 Certified - preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a Safety Manager role.
• Ability to climb ladders up to 30 feet.
• Experience with training large groups.
• Familiarity with OSHA recordkeeping requirements.
• Experience with incident reporting and accident investigations.
• Fleet safety experience.
