Director, Origination and Structuring - Remote

Overview

The Director, Origination and Structuring is responsible for identifying, developing, and negotiating revenue offtake contacts for battery energy storage (BESS) projects, playing a crucial role in developing offtake strategy and maintaining relationships with customers to drive revenue growth.

• Lead identification and negotiation of new business opportunities for BESS projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 10 years of experience in energy markets, with 5 years in origination or business development.
• Proven track record in originating and closing energy transactions.
• Experience with BESS and/or thermal power plants.
• Deep understanding of energy markets and pricing structures.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Advanced financial modeling skills.
• Ability to develop long-term business strategies.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Ability to identify and mitigate risks.
