Overview

The Registered Nurse position at HealthNet provides high quality, person-centered care to patients through a combination of education, experience, and environmental awareness.

In Short

• Assess patient’s condition by observing and recording behavior.
• Conduct accurate clinical assessments.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Assist with problem-solving for necessary equipment and supplies.
• Collaborate with providers and care teams.
• Assist with procedures and point of care testing.
• Handle administrative duties like patient paperwork.
• Develop ongoing relationships with patients.
• Maintain accurate reporting to the health department.
• Work full-time with potential evening and Saturday shifts.

Requirements

• Associates of Nursing (ASN) required; BSN preferred.
• Current Indiana RN license required.
• Basic Life Support certification through AHA required.
• Other advanced life support certifications may be needed.
• Must have a positive attitude and a passion for patient care.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation required for travel between health centers.
