Bilingual Therapist (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, LCAC) - Remote

Overview

The Therapist (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC or LCAC) provides information, assessment, crisis intervention and other mental health services to assigned patients, developing individualized treatment plans.

In Short

• Completes diagnostic summaries and communicates assessment findings.
• Determines the need for crisis intervention or long-term care.
• Counsels patients and families on emotional, social and financial consequences of illness.
• Provides mental health counseling, including crisis intervention.
• Enters treatment notes and updates in patient charts.
• Participates in continuing education for professional growth.
• Develops professional referral relationships for patient support.
• Hybrid work environment with one required day in the health center.
• Working with children and adolescents.

Requirements

• Requires LCSW or equivalent license.
• Masters in a related field (Psychiatric Nursing, Social Work, Counseling, Psychology).
• Four to five years of therapy experience.
• Knowledge of child/adult protective services and legal issues.
• Knowledge of state and federal laws related to mental health.
• Knowledge of community resources and entitlement programs.
• Electronic charting experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish is required.
• Reliable transportation may be needed.
