Overview

The Operations Analysis, Temporary interprets data outputs and demonstrates an ability to articulate data implications while collaborating closely with project leads to diagnose business problems and develop custom analytic solutions.

In Short

  • Performs analysis of files and processes, weekly transaction reports and monthly reports.
  • Analyzes files to ensure correct data is submitted.
  • Conducts testing of upgraded systems and various testing scenarios.
  • Develops ad-hoc reports for data analysis and validation.
  • Researches methodologies and conducts metric reporting.
  • Performs root cause analysis to identify systematic or process issues.
  • Defines data requirements and validates information.
  • Analyzes trends to recommend process improvements.
  • Prepares detailed and summary reports with interpretations of results.
  • Presents results to management with data-driven recommendations.

Requirements

  • An undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, or computer science preferred.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in the healthcare/managed care industry.
  • Analytical experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Visio.
  • May require knowledge of SQL, Crystal, Diamond, Cognos, CRMS, Access.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem analysis and solving skills.
  • Adaptability and planning/organizing skills.
  • Attention to detail and stress tolerance.
