1 in 4 people in the US have a treatable mental health condition, but the majority of providers don’t accept insurance, making therapy too expensive for most people. Headway is building a new mental healthcare system that everyone can access by making it easy for therapists to accept insurance and scale their practice.

In Short

• Design the continued care journey for patients in mental health therapy.
• Create seamless experiences for booking appointments and connecting with providers.
• Shape the core patient experience across multiple product surfaces.

• Translate ideas into high-quality visual design.
• Collaborate with PMs, marketers, engineers, and other designers.
• Work on user insights and business goals to create intuitive designs.

Requirements

• 5-8 years experience as a Product Designer.
• Strong visual and interaction design skills.
• Experience with hypothesis-driven iteration and experimentation.
• Ability to translate user insights into polished design.
• Desire to create impactful work.
